Round Top Retreat

Directions

Driving from Austin or Waco:

Take 290 East from Austin or 77 South From Waco towards Giddings.

East through Giddings to Carmine.

Look for Centennial Street / State Loop 458 (these are the same highway) and turn right.

Follow 458 to Hwy 237 (approx 2 ½ -3 miles) then turn right.

Proceed south on 237 (approx. 3-4 miles) to Jaster Road (at Festival Institute).

Turn left onto Jaster and follow final directions below.

Continue PAST entrances to Festival Hill to first road, (which is Krause) and turn right.

At next road,(which is Andreas) turn left then, turn right at second driveway.

There is a Round Top Retreat sign at this drive.

Stay LEFT around the west end of house with circle drive to large parking lot in front of the 3-story Inn House of the Retreat to check in.

Taking I-10 East – exit North at Schulenburg on Hwy 77 north to LaGrange.

Just north of LaGrange – exit onto Hwy 71 East (toward Houston)

Exit off Hwy 71 to 159 North, which turns into Hwy 237 to Round Top.

Proceed south on 237 to Jaster Road (at Festival Institute).

Turn left onto Jaster and follow final directions below.

Continue PAST entrances to Festival Hill to first road, (which is Krause) and turn right.

At next road,(which is Andreas) turn left then, turn right at second driveway.

There is a Round Top Retreat sign at this drive.

Stay LEFT around the west end of house with circle drive to large parking lot in front of the 3-story Inn House of the Retreat to check in.

Take Hwy 290 west through Brenham.

In Brenham, as 290 continues south of town past Wal-Mart, in about 1-2 miles start looking for an exit to STAY on 290 west toward Austin.

After Burton, a few miles look for Round Top sign and turn south onto Hwy 237

Proceed south on 237 to Jaster Road (at Festival Institute).

Turn left onto Jaster and follow final directions below.

At next road,(which is Andreas) turn left then, turn right at second driveway.
